Good Source for USMLE Step 2 Ck December 5, 2009 T. Nguyen (Southern CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This 7th edition has a lot of add-in. It covers almost subject I faced in the exam. But you still need UW or Kaplan Bank

Absolutely good book. They change few diagrams and I really liked it. Good review book but not for beginner.
Great Review June 12, 2010 Umer Ahmed (Chicago, IL) great review for those studying for step 2 ck. has everything you need, wish it had more tables though.
good so far June 19, 2010 S. New While I feel like there is some important information missing from this book, its not meant to be a complete text and is supposed to be supplemented with other material. I am using this along with Step up to Step 2 and USMLE World ? bank. I feel like I'm getting an adequate exposure to all topics this way. With that being said, I have't taken my test yet...
Not good enough December 8, 2009 Tina Wu (Los Angeles, CA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
While there are not very many resources out there for Step 2, this book is mediocre. The organization of the book is scattered and index is particularly bad. Most of the material is in the book, but it's hard to find it since the index is terrible. I would not use this as a stand alone study guide. In a lot of instances, it tells you signs and symptoms and the diagnosis, but doesn't mention the treatment (which is extremely important in Step 2). It falls short of expectations since First Aid for Step 1 was much much better.
