This is a great book. The text is well written, the pictures are crisp and clear for ultrasound images, and the DVD included shows a lot of the images in realtime, making it much easier to study.

This book has filled a worthy space in my acquisition of echocardiographic skills. The DVD is great as well as the color pictures and all topics are well done and comprehensive. It gives you a lot more than the Oh manual which includes a lot of details. I would recommend it for someone who has a handle on echos but wants more details to be informed and be a better echocardiographer/cardiologist.

3 out of 5 stars should be much better quality for such serious text book   May 19, 2010

This book has a lot of mistakes and very bad quality of cine loops, specially in chapters that demonstrate wall motion abnormalities and stress test. Also this DVD does not allow to enlarge icons with cine loops that are very small. The quality of DVD in the same book 6 edition is much, much better and more conveniently organized.
